Toni Tiainen (born 1996, Hollola) is an audiovisual storyteller, a filmmaker, and a writer. Armed with a deep love for movies, expressing emotion through images, sounds, and stories is what he’s most at home with. With a background in photojournalism and content creation for marketing, he’s developed into a versatile and effective creator, meanwhile guiding his career path towards his interests as a filmmaker, working in television productions (Murha Hangossa, 2024) and documentary film. He released his debut film, Sigma, in 2024. As of 2024 he’s working as a Media Advisor for Lahti City Library Services with responsibilities in graphic design, live-streaming events, and developing media education services. Toni has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art and Design from the University of Lapland.
